The President is one of the Officers of Ace Monster Toys, Inc. (dba Ace Makerspace), serving in accordance with the nonprofit organization’s bylaws. The President is elected by the Board of Directors and serves as the organization’s chief executive officer.

The President is an officer of the organization, but is not required to be a director. Appointment as President does not, by itself, give the President a vote on the Board of Directors. If the President is also a director, they participate and vote as a director.

The President is responsible for duties as outlined in the bylaws and summarized as follows:

• Serving as the organization’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
• Overseeing the day-to-day affairs and operations of the organization
• Carrying out the decisions and policies of the Board of Directors
• Working with the Board and other officers to advance the organization’s goals
• Representing the organization when appropriate
• Performing other duties assigned to the President by the Board or described in the bylaws

This is an unpaid volunteer role. The President is accountable to the Board of Directors and does not have authority beyond that granted by the Board, the bylaws, or applicable law.
