Lending tools to AMT
If you have an awesome tool you would like to loan to AMT, we have a process to cover that.
- Check in with the officers and stewards relevant to where your loaned equipment would live.
- Fill out and sign the agreement via Docusign.
- Enter the tool into the Asset Data Bases via Grand Central – see How to add an asset
- Work with the relevant steward to announce the tool
Lending tools to other AMT Members
If you choose to loan your personal tools to another AMT member, that is an agreement between you and that person. Ace Makerspace should not be involved in any way. Discussion and the making of that agreement should be kept of the AMT Slack Team channels and in PM’s only, as we don’t people confusing your tool lending with the lending of AMT equipment.
Storing Tools
Per the Ace Storage Policy ”’you may not store personal tools”’ in the space outside of the designated member storage area or personal lockers.
