How to Moderate [email protected] email

This email inbox is a public-facing mailbox. It is moderated approximately 5 days a week, once a day. 

This takes between 5 and 20 min. Depending on the volume of email

  • Login to Support@ via a google browser specific for this google account
    • Check the new mail in the inbox
    • Check the calendly.com notices for oddities
    • Check meetup filter for platform warning
    • Check and reply to info@emails (do not reply in email client)
      • Go to dot menu to access groups
      • Choose information at Ace Makerspace (See Email Response Doc for common answers)
      • Do the following based on context
        • Answer the question
        • Seek help to answer the quest (slack) other team members
        • Forward to escalate more serious issues. If forwarding higher up the chain, reply to the question in Groups with a note that their question has been received and forwarded on to someone who can better answer it.
      • Delete cheesy sales crap and or mark as spam
      • If desired delete info@ notifications from the email client inbox… they will not be deleted from groups
