The new router is amazing! We love it and feel it was the right investment to serve the community. The cost of the new equipment was approximately $46k with additional moving and development expenses. Phew! Quite a chunk of change. In order to grow and maintain the tool and program, as well as replenish our savings, we will be charging a use for using the CNC Router. This fee is charged on the honor system and folks are expected to pay the fees the day of use.
- 1 hour or less = $6
- Half Day – 5 hours = $25
- Full day – 5 to 10 hours = $50
Example of use: Member uses the router for 3 hours. They would purchase 3, 1-hour time blocks on the product and the cost is $18. Another example. The member uses 7 hour on the router. They would purchase 1 half-day time block and 2 1-hour time blocks and they would pay $37.
Charges apply to your entire work session not just when the machine is running.
NOTE If you are using the router for commercial purposes over prolonged periods of time, we will need to discuss a larger contribution to cover the associate expenses. We also want to balance all user needs!

The new CNC Router cost a pretty penny, a total of 46k+. The Router Program also costs money to run. Staff time, repair, wear and tear, small tools, etc. Fees go to cover the capital purchasing and all the program costs.
