We great a lot in the 2015-2016 fiscal year and we will be on a growth arch until about August 2017. Some of the big changes were:
*Grew by 55%
*Took on 6 Major projects
*Added over 6 major tools
*Added 1 major program
*Extended capabilities significantly accross programs and platforms
*Launch a new website and web apps
With all that growth comes changes in what our needs are and how we do things. We have found out the hard way that what works for a small more homogeneous group doesn’t work so well for a larger more diverse group.
The leadership team is commited to the health and sustainability of the org and to that end hired [http://emilybowen.com Emily Bowen,] a change managment and leadership expert to help us manage a project to help us manage those needs. Some of the core goals are to:
*Maintain our 501(c)3 compliance
*Help us develop our decision making and conflict managment tools
*Help us develop a better more accurate membership agreement
*Help us update the by-laws to reflect our operational change
*Help us develop our leadership supports
This project has 5 phases
*Data Entry and Analysis
*Data Feedback and Joint Analysis
*Goal Setting and Action Planning
*Intervention/New process Implementation
*Goal Evaluation
The Leadership team expects this project to wrap up around the end of March 2017 after which we expect to enjoy the benefits.
