Follow the instructions below to buy your fabric for the Dog Bandana Workshop at Ace Makerspace.

Step 1: Figure out how much fabric you need

You will need to determine how much fabric to purchase based on the size chart below. Measure your pet’s collar and add a couple of inches to accommodate a knot or snap. If your pet is in-between sizes please SIZE UP.

Step 2: Shopping for Fabric

Now that you know your pet’s size, it’s time to shop! We recommend quilting cotton for this project because they are easy to work with and comes in lots of fun prints!

• Sizes Extra Small & Small: purchase ½ yard of each print
• Size Medium: purchase ½ yard of each print
• Size Large: purchase ¾ yard of each print

If time allows you may be able to make more than one bandana so feel free to bring extra materials.

If you choose a print that is directional (characters, typography, etc.) purchasing an additional ¼ yard will allow you to control if your print is right-side up on your bandana.
