A Plan… cause we need to have tables and storage for Pete’s sake.
== Supplies ==
*Table Tops (2x) – [http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80251358/ http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80251358/]
*Plywood – Decent Grade ($34 per sheet) – Cut down to 78 3/4×23 5/8" with notches in the corners and edges routed to avoice snags
*Frame wood – Needs to be calculated. I imagine 20 2×4’s
*Hardware: Wood Screws, brakets and two clamps (these should be able to clamp together to make one large worksurface
*Casters – 12 to 16 : [http://www.harborfreight.com/4-in-polyurethane-heavy-duty-swivel-caster-69847.html http://www.harborfreight.com/4-in-polyurethane-heavy-duty-swivel-caster-69847.html] CALL THEM to make sure they have enough. It is a bummer to drive out to concord only to find out they have three
*Bins – 14x http://www.target.com/p/sterilite-56-qt-storage-tote-transparent-with-glacier-white-lid/-/A-13771723#prodSlot=_1_1 and 8 x smaller or shoebox
This pages if for collecting information and design whatnot on the tables we are building for the classroom/textiles room.
*Build two tables that are indentical so they can be pushed up against eachother in the center of the room to create the awesome cutting surface.
*The final surface should be approx. 30 to 34" high (debate still rages over perfect height) but it should be altra smooth. We can get these from between 0/$24 – $45 each. [http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80251358/ http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80251358/] – They are 78 3/4×23 5/8".
*Using those we could attach 6 legs with L brackets and casters. Along with a base for storage out of .5" plywood.
*This rough plan comes in around $120 per table assuming we buy everything… with freebies it could run very much cheaper.
*We have a $100 pledge right now for these tables. SEEKING: Donations and design ideas.

== Requirements ==
*Rolls easily
*Aligns well to create one large smooth cutting surface when pushed together
*A grown adult can stand on it
*at least one dimension to be at least 60" wide
*Contains bins storage underneath in a highly organized way (more details on storage below)
*between 28 and 36 inches high (approx.) could err to a bit taller.
*Has very smooth surface and edges so fabric doesn’t snag and slides around easily

== Storage requrements ==
Storage should accomodate several different size bins including:
For bulky items like fake fur, scrap fabric, donation fabric, etc: [http://www.homedepot.com/p/Sterilite-56-Qt-Storage-Box-16591008/100671089?N=5yc1vZc89j http://www.homedepot.com/p/Sterilite-56-Qt-Storage-Box-16591008/100671089?N=5yc1vZc89j]
For Med items like patterns, silkscreen supplies, and tools: Plastic shoe boxes etc.
We could also get fancy and design our own version of this kind of things: [http://www.ikea.com/us/en/search/?query=toy+storage http://www.ikea.com/us/en/search/?query=toy+storage]
