While you may find many consumable supplies at Ace that are okay to use don’t expect them to always be there. The supplies were most likely provided by other members not the org with a few program based exceptions. Expect to provide your own consumables. General rules for consumables vary by space.

Coworking

Coworking has a basic complement of office supplies. Please feel free to use them in a reasonable manner. Illustration of reasonable: Need a binder clip, take one. Need 30 binder clips for your business… buy your own.

The same is true of printing in Coworking on the black and white printer. Need to print a few documents… please do. Need to print a 30-page manual, donate a few bucks to cover the expense. Printing costs Ace about 4¢ a sheet.

The honor bar in Coworking has hot and cold cups as well as recyclable utensils for member use. Disposable plates and bowls are for Ace event use only.

Laser

Laser has some blue table and trash bags for member use. If you need to do a large bit of masking please bring your own tape, otherwise, use both consumables as needed.

Any untagged material in the laser material shelves is free for member use.

Metal

Metal has any number of small consumables such as oil that are for safe member tool use. Always inform the user group when we are out. #heavy-metal

Storage

Ace supplies standardized bins for basic member storage. Do not take them. Do use them.

Clean Fabrication

Textiles

Textiles has things like tailor’s chalk, thread, tracing paper and pins for use in limited quantities. Do not take these things home with you. Do donate these things

Textiles has a selection of fabric that is always available for member use. Use it! Do not donate fabric unless it can fit in the bin.

3D Printing

3D printing often has filament. If it is there it is there for folks to use. Alcohol and blue table are also in 3D printing in limited quantities.

Things like wire, anything in the bins marked Use and Replace, etc. Use it and replace it. If you cannot replace it make to sure to tell the user group we are out on Slack #electronics and then donate at Ace to replace the item.
