Description: The Pfaff 145 is a single needle walking foot sewing machine. It is ideal for sewing leather and upholstery fabrics – as well as canvas, vinyl, synthetics and other thick and heavyweight materials.  A great machine to have for automotive and marine upholstery, furniture upholstery, bags, purses, tarps, tents, truck covers and like materials.  This is a heavy duty machine in great sewing condition, with enough power to sew through your hand…. BE CAREFUL. Beginning sewers should practice on standard lockstitch machines before getting training on this machine.

Accessories and use notes: We upgraded the motor to a servo motor, and we use 134-35 system needles.  Note that other needle systems will fit this machine, but the timing will probably be off, causing heartbreak and grief.  Or at least skipped stitches.  A 134-35 system needle is 38.1 mm from the tip of the shank (thick part) to the machine end (top) of the needle eye.
