Ace’s workshop uses a number of different 3D-printed parts. All of them can be printed in PLA, PETG or TPU. They would be less fragile if printed in TPU.
ShopVac Accessories
Common Adaptor Taper
Our various shop-vac accessory tips and adaptors are all designed to work with the 2″ ShopVac hoses.
Most of the models use a separately printed tapered adaptor part that gets superglued to some other part. The other shopvac adaptors and tips are printed as one piece – they have the tapered part as part of the model.

Delta Bandsaw Shopvac Adaptor
This adaptor replaces the original adaptor that came with the Delta 14″ bandsaw, except that this one fits 2″ shopvac hoses. This one uses the same mounting hardware as the original.
This is printed in two parts because the orientation of the print layers affects the strength, and this part undergoes more force than most other prints. The two parts slide together and they can be superglued together.

Shopvac Tips and Adaptors
Many of the shop vac tips use a common tapered part that is printed separately. It is compatible with all the other shopvac tips that are printed in two parts. Other adaptors and tips use the same taper but are printed as a single part that includes it.
Rockler-to-Shopvac Adaptor
Our workshop uses the Rockler Dust Collection Fitting Kit to connect to our various sanding tools. This 3D print screws into the blue vacuum hose to allow it to be connected to a shopvac.
It is printed as one piece; however, the large taper is identical to the standard shop-vac adaptor taper.

Laguna Bandsaw
Vacuum Deflector

No Curved Cuts Magnetic Sign
This small sign is equipped with a magnet so it can be attached right on the safety guard that covers the blade. It reminds people to only make straight cuts on the Laguna bandsaw because curved cuts damage the blade.
You can find this model on Printables here:
Set Blade Tension Magnetic Sign
This small sign is equipped with a magnet so it can be attached inside the upper housing of the Laguna Bandsaw, near where the magnetic sign shows the tension for various sized blades. It reminds people about the size of the blade. This isn’t super-useful because people are not supposed to adjust the tension of the blade, except by raising and lowering the tension lever on the back of the saw.

Lathe Square Center Finder
This simple template allows you to draw a line across the center of square stock before mounting it on the lathe.
- In square stock, do it twice from adjacent corners and the lines cross in the center of the stock.
- In rectangular stock, do it four times (one from each corner). The result is a tiny rectangle centered around the center of the stock.
