This post contains purchasing information for collets and collet nuts for the FS CNC Router. This post also contains purchasing information for a basic router bits set.
Purchasing Collets and Collet Nuts
- Ace collet requirements are Milwaukee brand Collet and Nut Assembly.
- Ace stocks: ¼” and ½” collets. See Collets and Bits for the FS CNC Router

Collet Requirements
The collet and nuts must be compatible with the model of the router in the FS CNC Router, which is:
Milwaukee CAT. NO. 5625-20
Be aware that Milwaukee makes collets for grinders. Be careful not to purchase Milwaukee “grinder” collets, because grinder collets will not work in the FS CNC Router.
Note: Do not use ER collets, which are designed for CNC spindles. ER collets are not compatible with this router.
