Monthly events are Show’ n’ tells for the membership.
Budget
The sustainable budget is $60 – $90 to cover promotion, food, and handouts.
Promotion
- Flyers in public venues – 3 weeks before event
- Direct outreach to other orgs (see bayareamakers.org)
- Basic Social Media – Save the date 4 weeks before event, full push 2 weeks before event, reminder 2 days and day of event
Clean up
Requires one garbage patrol and tidy up the next day

Basic Social Media – Save the date 4 weeks before event, full push 2 weeks before event, reminder 2 days and day of event

Event production
Production is just that… all the little things that make the event a nice experience.
- Handout’s 20x – tchotchke if possible
- Special Features (could be any of the options below)
- Little stations where people can make stuff (this is just an idea… still pending, terry mentioned kits)
- Guest Speaker or company
- Balloons for sign
- Food (Chips and dips)
- Beverages – 50/50 Beer and Soda
Clean up
