This is a regular maintenance that needs to be done to the laser.

Be sure to get training before doing this!!!

• Use some paper towels and the two cans of WD-40 behind the red toolbox in the laser room.
  Note: It’s important to keep the overspray off of the mirrors inside the laser. The easiest way to do this is spraying onto a towel outside of the machine.
• Apply some of the standard WD-40 (blue can) onto the XY rails and clean off whatever has built up on there with the paper towels.
• Once cleaned off apply some of the yellow can and leave it on there.
• Move the gantry back and forth to work it into the bearings and whatnot.
