===Thursday or Friday Night Setup?===
Maker Check-in is in the red and white striped tent via the Saratoga Drive entrance near GATE DD on the east side of the fairgrounds at the south end of the parking lot. Follow the signs to Maker Check-in. When you arrive, please identify yourself with your 4-digit Maker Number. It is important for check-in. The check-in staff will provide you with a detailed map to your location. Check-in on Thursday (10am – 6pm) or Friday (10am – 8pm) options: 1. Check-in – Standard - unload your materials on to a cart and set up your exhibit. 2. Check-in – Special - stop at Maker Check-in, pick up a Temporary Vehicle Unloading Pass. Drive your vehicle to the location closest to your exhibit, unload and move your car to the parking area as soon as possible. 3. Enjoy the Maker activities on Friday afternoon and make Saturday and Sunday easier! Parking options on Saturday and Sunday if you have checked in on Friday: 1. Free Parking - park free at Franklin Templeton and walk or take a shuttle to the Event Center. Shuttle will start running at 7:30am. 2. Paid Parking – purchase a $10 weekend parking pass at Maker check-in on Friday only and park in a designated area that will be indicated on a map when you buy your ticket. Pre-Show Check-in on Saturday (opens 7:30am) or Sunday (opens 8am) Leave your driver’s license with the attendant at the Saratoga East Entrance gate. Unload in 15-30 minutes and return to gate to pick up your license by 9:30am and move your car to Free parking lot and walk or take a shuttle back to the Event Center. OR Pay $17 for daily parking, go to Maker check-in, unload and park in the same lot where you are unloading. Check-in during Show Hours – Saturday (10am – 8pm) and Sun (10am – 6pm) 1. Go to Gate B on Delaware Street, check-in and then unload at a designated drop-off only location. 2. Please bring a Maker Assistant to help you with parking the car. Give them their ticket/wristband (so they can get back in), have them park the car in a free parking lot and walk back or take a shuttle back while you are moving your equipment to your area. We will do our best to advise the closest parking spots available depending on how they fill up. Carts We will have carts available to help transport equipment / materials to your exhibit space. Questions or Concerns If you have emailed us without receiving a response, our apologies as we are working onsite and have limited access to email. Please bring all questions and concerns to Maker check-in and we will address them at check-in or you will work directly with your Area Manager. If you have not completed the Maker Assistant list or Large Group spreadsheet, please bring your list of Maker Assistant names with you to check-in to make things at check-in move along faster. Thank you for all of your hard work in preparing your exhibits. It’s going to be an incredible weekend! The Maker Faire Team
